AP covers release of sea turtle rehabilitated at MARC
The Associated Press ran a story on the Aug. 28, 2010 release of a loggerhead sea turtle in South Carolina that had be rehabilitated at Â鶹´«Ã½Marine Animal Rehabilitation Center. Santos, a 100-pound loggerhead, was found off New England stunned by the cold in 2008. He was treated at Â鶹´«Ã½and then brought to the Sea Turtle Rescue Program at the South Carolina Aquarium last November. Santos and a Kemp's ridley sea turtle named Surfer were released at Folly Beach County Park near Charleston. The story ran in the (Myrtle Beach, S.C.) and a number of other newspapers and websites.
