Michael Sheldon publishes article on policy analysis in Physical Therapy Journal
Michael Sheldon, P.T., Ph.D., associate professor and director of the 鶹ý Department of Physical Therapy, recently published a perspective in Physical Therapy, a journal of the American Physical Therapy Association about conducting a policy analysis.
The article, titled, “Policy-Making Theory as an Analytical Framework in Policy Analysis: Implications for Research Design and Professional Advocacy,” was part of a special series on health services research. According to the article’s abstract, it aims to, “demonstrate the use of a policy-making theory as an analytical framework in a policy analysis and discuss how sound policy analysis can assist physical therapists in becoming more effective change agents.”
