Â鶹´«Ã½well represented at annual AOTA conference
Students and faculty from the Department of Occupational Therapy led poster presentations at the 2016 American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Annual Conference on April 4-10.
Leslie Bardin (MSOT, ‘17) and Morgan Mitchell (HWOS ‘17) participated in a poster presentation, along with Judy Kimball, Ph.D., OTR/L, FAOTA; in collaboration with Ed Bilsky. Professors Mary Beth Patnaude, M.S., OTR/L; Elizabeth Crampsey, M.S., OTR/L, BCPR; and Adjunct Professor Jessica Bolduc, MSOTR/L, Dr.OT were also involved in presentations.
In addition to presenting research, several students and faculty members took part in leadership sessions. They attended a "Breakfast with a Scholar" event with Lisa Genova, author of the book, Still Alice. A Â鶹´«Ã½table was provided at the event, as Dean Elizabeth Francis-Connolly, Ph.D., OTR, FAOTA, is a trustee and event sponsor. Rebecca Masterjohn (MSOT, ‘16) represented the Â鶹´«Ã½Occupational Therapy Department in the Assembly of Student Delegates. Kathryn Loukas, interim program director, attended the Academic Leadership Council Meeting and Scott McNeil joined leadership meetings regarding Academic Fieldwork Coordination.
